My name is Donnie Edington, Owner and Instructor of Edington Enhanced Carry
Have you ever felt you could always learn more? That your training never stops? I feel that way myself.
Not only do I teach firearm safety and training, I offer situational awareness training, first aid and trauma training, range training and more! I teach in a way you understand and down to earth. I never try to single out anyone, we all hard to start somewhere. My goal has always been to connect with students and create a relaxed and fun environment, where each individual feels comfortable and excited to learn as much as possible.
I want to be there for their continued education, and for their families and friends. I enjoy earning your trust and being by your side as you navigate the endless amount of information available to help you protect yourself and loved ones from violence and harm. I know that you trust me with your ability to protect your selves and your family and friends.
I am constantly learning more about the why and how when it comes to personal and family protection. My training will never stop, and I want to share that knowledge with you!

Concealed Carry Certification
Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun, shotgun and AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.
Countering the Mass Shooter Threat
In this class, you’ll review an analysis of data gathered from 48 mass shootings that have occurred since Columbine, to determine what can be learned from these tragedies, including whether a reduction in magazine capacity or the banning of any class of firearm would have changed the outcome. You'll also learn whether “gun-free” zones figure into the planning of these mass murderers; whether victim response at any mass shooting has made a difference; and whether “universal background checks” or other proposals by gun control advocates stand a chance of stemming the current trajectory of these shootings. This course summarizes this data with a comprehensive plan designed to eliminate the scourge of these shooters once and for all. ?

USCCA has taken the FEMA Active Shooter curriculum, and updated and improved its precepts. In the 'Church Safety: Protecting your Congregation' course, we not only teach you responses to this threat, but also suggest a plan to eliminate the scourge of these shooters, once and for all. Together, in this 'Church Safety: Protecting your Congregation course,' we will analyze data gathered from mass shootings that have occurred, to determine what can learned from these tragedies, including whether a reduction in magazine capacity or the banning of any class of firearm would have changed the outcome.
